Iran mostly has a hot and dry climate, that has made Iranians hold water in a high regard. This has givven a poetic meaning to water, as the source of life and livelihood. Water has played a key role in Iranian interior and exterior architecture. Fin garden in Kashan, Iran, is an example of water in Iranian garden design. It plays an integral part in the interior of Dolat Abad mansion in Yazd. Water purifies air, and mixed with the air coming from the tower cools the interior down.
Our effort is to put water into its high position, and to help the Iranians realize how they ancestors regarded water. It is of high importance in an age that is marked with water shortage and global warming, and in a region that is one of the driest in the world.
