GHASR

After Ghasr prison was shut down, This historical monument has been transformed to a museum. This water pool is located in Ghasr park around the museum and was finished in 2007. The pool is 480 square meters big, and consists of 10 pumps, each 2HP, which pump the water to 70 nozzles arranged in two sides of the pool. Jet height varies from 1.5 to 2.5 meters at the highest. The system is static, but is designed with the future possibility of a musical fountain in its place.
