PARDIS GARDEN (phase 1)

Pardis garden is an recreation site located in northeastern Tehran in the Sohanak Neighborhood. The Garden is a property of the Iran's police and a member of the Pardis group. Most of the visitors are family members of the police forces, and other armed forces. The garden is originally built many years ago, before turning into a public garden.

 

The garden has been renovated and new building s have been being added to the site. Adding new waterfeatures to the garden was also a part of the refurbishment project. The waterfeatures are being built by Favaran company. There were 3 water pools in the garden and 3 water installation are designed for each. The phase one is the first of the three waterfeatures to be built.

 

Phase one is located at the heart of the garden, right in front of the modern restaurant. It is a bean-like pool, some 3 meters deep, formerly a swimming pool, but now only used for water shows. The design was carried out in collaboration with Naghsh Paydar consultants, and is approved by them.

 

The waterscape consists of two arces, and two rings of fountain jets. The arcs cover the whole pool from one side to the other, while the rings are located in a corner of the pool. Each ring is powered by a 3 kw pump. The oter arc also has two of the same pump, and the inner arc has one. The inner arc has 6 rotating nuzzles, that shoots water up to 3 meters. The outer arc has 42 solenoid_valved nuzzles which are arranged linearly that make reciprocating effects easy to attain.
